BEAVERTAILS OTTAWA ICE DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL PRESENTS The Success Dragon Lion Dance Troupe has been performing locally in the National Capital Region for over 30 years. We are proud to have them join us at the BeaverTails Ottawa Ice Dragon Boat Festival. The Chinese Lion Dance is a 3000-year-old Chinese tradition that symbolizes prosperity, luck and happiness. Their first performance will be an intimate demonstration inside HMCS Carleton. Their second performance will be outside on the ice on Saturday February 4, where they will lead participants and the general public in a Parade of Nations down onto the ice for the official races!
