REGISTRATION OPENS WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 5 AT 12:00PM EST!
Ottawa is proud to be hosting the first IDB1 World Championships as part of the BeaverTails Ottawa Ice Dragon Boat Festival 2023 festivities.
IDB1’s are solo “ice dragon boats” which made their North American debut in the Nation’s Capital in the winter of 2017.
This exciting new addition to the festival will be taking place on February 11 and 12 at TD Place Arena.
Registration Fees:
- $65 per person
Registration Includes:
- Practice Session
- Equipment (IDB1, ice-stick)
- Qualifying races in men and women’s divisions, with advancements for semi-final and final rounds.

- IDB1’s will also be available to try on the Rideau Canal Skateway at Dow’s Lake on February 3 & 4.
