CONQUER THE CAPITAL VIRTUAL CHALLENGE REGISTRATION OPEN
The BeaverTails Ottawa Ice Dragon Boat Festival will take place from February 4-21, 2022 as an official partner of the 44th edition of Winterlude.
Due to the ongoing pandemic we know that many of our friends from around the world won’t be able to join us for this year’s festivities, but we still want to include everyone in all the fun. We’re inviting all of our past participants and followers from around the globe to register for the Conquer The Capital virtual challenge.
The Conquer the Capital virtual challenge is an opportunity for people around the world to come together to enjoy some winter fun during an iconic Canadian tradition…Winterlude! Registered participants are encouraged to skate, ski, snowshoe, walk or run, from any location in the world, for a cumulative distance of 21k to be completed at their own pace over the duration of Winterlude ‘22. Participants can invite friends and family members from around the world to join them in this virtual winter activity and receive a commemorative medal.
